Nora sat upon a rickety wooden stool in front of her flat, reading the news on her phone and humming to herself. Suddenly, as she stumbles upon a very boring article about the local cattle, she hears a great commotion in the sky above her, sounding like a crashing airplane and a tornado all at once. Nora hopped off her stool to see a large blue box falling from the air and passing her. "What th-!" she yells before it flies far out of view. She fished in her back pocket and found her car keys, pausing to look for the box once again. She then walked briskly to her car, starting the ignition and driving toward the river downtown.
-
Nora arrived at the river, and parked her car off to the side of the road. Quickly putting her keys back in her pocket, she jogged over to the water's edge. Then, she saw it, the blue box that was whizzing through the sky, now halfway under water. Next to it, she found a lanky but fit brunette man inspecting it. She slowly and carefully walked up behind him. "Did you see it too?" she asked. "That thing flying?"
-
got it, I'm semi-advanced because I'm actually an older member but I couldn't find my account, thanks though c:
-
Her eyes widened, "You were flying that thing?" she asked incredulously. Now that she had a good chance to look at him, she found him to be somewhat attractive... but crazy. "What do you mean when? It's 2014, are you drunk, or sick or something?" she asked somewhat concerned.
-
Her eyes widen at his fast and rather confusing statements. "Your name is the Doctor?" she asks. "And what the hell is a TARDIS and why is it... underwater?" Nora scratched her head and looked up at him. "Who are you, really?" she asked, squinting at him and tilting her head.
-
She shakes her head confusedly at him and sighs. "Ok, I'll humour you, you're near a very busy city outside of London, a place called Manchester." Nora replied to the American man. "Now, did you hit your head or something, can I call an ambulance for you?" she asks, pulling out her phone.
-
"Well, hate to be a downer love but I don't really have a crane." she said, looking down at the blue box, and then back up at him. "It's-it's Nora." she said cautiously, kneeling down at the water's edge to look at the box. "How heavy is this thing, necessarily?" she asked the man.
-
"Well, I can go back to my flat and get some equipment to hoist it out I think." And she looked at him and grinned. "And do I know I can trust you with my full name and a car ride to my house, sir?" Nora chuckled and pulled her keys out of her pocket. "Come on, Doctor lad."
-
Nora glanced over at him inspecting the broken wipers and shrugged it off as she opened the car door. "They've been broken for a couple ye-" she stopped as he pulled out some sort of probe and fixed them. "What- How did you... what?! What is that?" she asked, extremely confused.
-
Hmm... I don't have any experience with vampires or other fictional characters like that, I usually play humans, but I would love to play a female love interest if you want!
-
"Ah, yes of course." Nora replies, shaking her head and removing the feeling of shock. She started up the car and quickly drove off. "My last name is Williams-Pond, by the way." She says, looking at the road ahead of her and turning down a series of sidestreets.
-
Her eyes widened and she hit the brakes to look over at him. "How would you know that those were there names?" She asked with a stern expression. "Are you some sort of government spy or somethin?" She asked, her accent getting thicker. "Tell me how you know them or this car doesn't move."
-
Nora slumped back into her seat, confused and slightly scared, and then it came to her. "My mum... She told me the stories her grandmum used to tell her about a doctor, whisking her away... a raggedy man." She turned to look at him. "No way." Nora said breathlessly. "You're... the raggedy doctor?"
-
Aww, poor thing :c I don't think I remember you, because at that point I was becoming less active. And thank you for the welcome!
-
She looked him over and immediately thought to herself, "Very dashing, indeed." and reapplied her foot to the gas pedal and drove to her small house with the rickety wooden stool outside. "Alright, there should be tools with some cables in the back to tow it out, I need to go change." Nora directed as she opened the door and walked upstairs to her room.
-
In the midst of putting on another tank top she heard the doctor scream. Nora quickly sprints down the staircase, still putting on her shirt, in time to see the Doctor struggling with a large robotic creature. "DOCTOR!" She yells quickly, before pulling out a revolver from behind her couch and grabbing a handful of bungee chords. "Car! Now!" She yelled, before running our of the house with the gun still aimed at the robot.
